Linda
Silva has
worked in
the mental
health field
for 12 years.
She is a
native of
Ohio and
graduated
from the
University
of Dayton
in 1990
with a BS
in Marketing.
In 1991
she moved
to Atlanta,
GA where
she attended
the Richmont
Graduate
University.
In 2003
she received
her Master's
degree from
the Richmont
Graduate
University
in Professional
Counseling.
For
the first
4 years
following
graduation,
Linda worked
in a non-profit
mental health
agency specializing
in foster
care related
issues.
In August
of 2008,
Linda and
her family
moved to
Blairsville,
GA.
Linda
began working
with the
Union County
Anti-Drug
Association where
she instructs
middle school
and high
school students
teaching
drug prevention
strategies.
She also
opened her
private
practice
working
with families
and children.
Linda
says, "I
have a passion
for working
with and
helping
children
of all ages
and their
families. Both
younger
children
and teens
are generally
able to
connect
easily with
me. My career
is my ‘calling’ and
I consider
it an honor
working
with children
and families.”
